As of this listing, this is the only copy of Splendid Genesis available on the net and this may very well be the 1st time that Splendid Genesis has been offered publicly with the Birth Announcement. This is one of the rarest and most noteworthy combinations available in the Magic: The Gathering world! With this, you will feel like a part of Richard Garfield’s extended family (inventor of MTG), as the announcements were only given to friends/family after the birth of their 1st child!

Allegedly, the employees that rounded out the ~110 print-run of the Splendid Genesis card did not receive the Announcement – Thus there’s more cards than Announcements out there. One could speculate that only a single digit quantity have left the hands of Garfield's lineage & elite chosen.
